What is Jake Zemke's future?

Last year, there was only two riders in the AMA riding better than Josh and neither one was Jake.

 

Why do people refer to this years season as "last year"? You make it sound like it was so long ago. Hasn't been that long ago that the season ended.

I am pretty sure I heard through the gravevine (I know it may be rubbish) that Zemke was making little over 1mil a year the past few years.
