Nope. They're all the same. Just helps us if new or renewals are done using the WERA code. Info in the next post....

To join the AMA through WERA simply follow these steps:

    • Follow the prompts to set up your account
    • For new members, when prompted, enter the market code: WEMORO
    • Complete your transaction
    • On your confirmation page you will see a link to print a temporary membership card if you need to do so. You can also do this from your online profile.
    • If you have questions, need help,or would like to join over the phone call AMA member services at 800-AMA-JOIN (262-5646)(Make sure to tell your member services representative to use the code WEMORO!)

Your membership and card will arrive in the mail in a few weeks. Welcome to the AMA!

Well, something to keep in mind is all of that was DMG other than Dingman selling it to DMG - which I do get even if I didn't agree with it. Even I didn't think it would be that bad and it's so much better now and looking so much better for the future it was kind of worth it.

I believe so yes. You know how I've felt about the people running things in the past. I've been polite but in no way unclear on how I felt about them. I think the people running racing in the AMA are good people and will do their best for the sport. I think the same about MotoAmerica. I think the same about the females at WERA.

If Ken Sellaint (sp) is involved then you and Ev watch every move...

I mean watch everything and save and print anything he says.

Other than that, cool and good news!

    Phl218 .

So why exactly do I have to join the AMA to race with WERA?

Because Evelyne thinks it's a good idea and we are requiring it.

So does this mean I will need THREE different memberships in order to even consider signing up for the PIRC WERA/N2 endurance race?

I'm going to be "that guy" and just come out and say it...I don't like this at all.

If I do sign up for the AMA membership and use the promo code WEMORO, does WERA get a kickback?
