Fucking Bird escaped the oven and swiped the cranberries. Such a great preseason post.

I got desperate mid-season and started making some flier picks to try to get lucky and scramble to the top. Didn't work, and I scrambled in the wrong direction. I did better last year and was a lot more deliberate with my picks and studied sessions a bit more. Lesson learned!

@dsapsis :Send my $33 for a race win to AFF as well, please.

Congrats to @BigBird ! 3 in a row and undefeated. That's amazing, and your recipe works!

@jksoft : Amazing job as usual. The site is super easy to navigate and has been really reliable. Thanks for your efforts.

Great playing with the rest of you! I always enjoy the added element of the Fantasy game when watching races on Sunday morning. And man, am I going to miss getting up on Sunday morning, grabbing a coffee, and firing up some GP. Luckily, it's not a terribly long off-season. Catch you kids in 2022!

All payments have been made except one, pending figuring out the correct paypal address. If you are expecting monies, please check to see you got them, and if not, hit me up via PM.
A number of you also agreed to kick down your winnings to the AFF:
    Greenhound
    Chino
    motion
    motorkas
    crazymofu
    dsapsis
So when you add in my AFF bet I lost (to motion of all people and you know how he picks stocks!) that amounted to $314. And finally, motofun donated his winnings back to Jeremy. A nicer bunch of twits cannot be found on the innernets.
    Looking forward to next year.

All payouts complete. The last of them was for backbone, and he redirected his winnings to jksoft.
For next year, what do folks think about a special award for high race score all season (I woulda won!)?
Something to ponder over the winter.

You only get half a vote

Would you think differently if it were you who had scored 119 (be honest)?
I mean, what is the downside here? I would propose something like 50 bucks, or maybe the buy-in (needs to be higher than race win).

    I like it.
It might even keep Bigbird in a lower tax bracket :)

Only if there is also a $3 payout for the lowest score of the year so you can at least buy yourself a beer and drown your sorrows because you suck so hard. :D

serious answer....i really don't care about high score.

but it's fine, whatever gets more people involved and excited.

    I would say i would just make it another cut of the weekly prize since the winner of high score would have also won a weekly high score prize already, not a buy-in + weekly win;

I was thinking more like the Tissot watch award, but instead you get this watch:

Congrats to all of the winners this year!

It was a crazy season and challenging to keep up with all of the changes. Hopefully next year is just as exciting but with a more stable schedule. I learned I need to build a better management interface to both make it easier and less likely to introduce errors. The auto-scoring turned out to be less automatic and more manual. Hopefully I can find a way to improve that over the winter. Thanks for everyone's patience.
