    IMG_0492.JPG 97 TZ125 what in heck is the unit located on the left hand side with an adjustment dial 0 to 7 and a couple more 7s. It's plugged into the ign. module up front, what is it?

    I think it's a kit map switch. I've seen it on later bikes (2000+)

    Nolaracer is right. It is a 'Kit' map selector switch. Similar to what is available for the TZ 250. Do some googling and you can find the Kit manual pages and there is a figure with the curves that show what change in ign map, PV opening, and PJ on/off each setting does
