Well, like the famous quote from Carlito's Way...just when I thought I was out...! Looks like I'm buying an SR500 race bike. Question is, what can I race it in? I just checked the classes and see that V2 is gone except for VMD. So can I race this in 500GP, and how competitive will it be? It has a 540 kit in it, is that OK for this class? Inquiring minds want to know.
I believe the disc brakes would keep it from 500GP. I plan on bringing this RZ to a WERA round or two this summer. but the bighorn will likely stay home since V1 has to go to V3 now.
If I get to any races this summer that you are at, I'll bring a Honda 500 single. I have a couple. Will an Xl500 engine in a braced CB350 frame be legal in V2?
