Trick catch can

I am looking for a trick catch can and found one, but it has a drain fitting at the bottom. Will tech have a problem with that? Will it be sufficient to safety the drain closed, and/or run a hose from the drain to the belly pan, or out the back of the seat, or just pull the drain and safety wire a plug in its place?

Put a rubber stopper thingamajob over the end of the drain fitting, then safety wire it.
