    Quicktoy Is it Winter yet?

My step son was on leave this past week from the Navy so we went to the Top Golf in Ft Myers (there’s another about equal distance from us in Tampa) and it was an absolute blast. It is great for those who don’t golf as the holes are 50’ wide but you get more points the closer you are to the flag. They have a ton of different games and a very very high end setup with screens all around you and constant fans blowing on you. I’d def recommend.

They're building one in an abandoned Sears in Louisville. Took them 3 years to get the zoning changed from all the NIMBY's that live close by. They claimed the light pollution would interfere with their lives. Probably isn't a house within 3/4 mile of the place. Funny that they never complained about the lights from the old shopping center. Looks kind of cool, I'll probably give it a go once.

It's a fun, albeit expensive, place to have some fun.

What's fun that's not expensive anymore?

Side Note: Henry Ruggs was drinking at Top Golf before he got released by the Raiders.

You should google "Mike Trout topgolf".

But yes, it's expensive as hell - for us and another family for a couple of stalls, it ended up being like $500 for two hours (there was a beverage or two consumed as well). My work likes to go there for events so I've been 15-20 times in total.

They were going to build one up here close to us, but the pandemic happened and they scrubbed that plan. Looks like fun. Didn't know it was that expensive though.

They are building one by the Horseshit Casino in Baltimore. I’m thinking of starting a pool on when the first shooting happens after it opens.

They built one here in Augusta. I haven't been, but plan to visit next time the mini-blonde and her significant other come to visit. They also built a new Dave and Busters about half a mile away that just opened.

Looks like it's $50 for a bay for an hour and a bay includes 6 people. That's the prime time rate (after 5pm). Must have been a hell of a lot of drinks to rack up a $500 tab.

Been there...to the Tampa one and out here in the colony. Let me break it down.
    I pay
$85 per mo Golf country club PLP membership (comes with free range balls unlimited, free snacks and water every visit, reduced tee time fee's and a free beer with any afternoon round of 18) This also includes free instruction if so desired by the local golf pro...with trackman.

Topgolf...can't touch that but it is a fun place to throw money away:D

That Fort Myers location is always busy, so obviously no shortage of participants.

I do enjoy trying to clear the back fence as I can smash a driver. The balls they provide are junk tho

    I have a 5 acre yard and I can't hit a driver for shit.

My beer fridge and wet bar are a lot cheaper, too!

What’s going to be first, a shooting or a gang of people doing wheelies on stolen quads and dirt bikes across the range? I hope the wheelies. It’s fun to aim at the range picker, imagine hitting a goon doing wheelies with a 4 iron stinger…bonus, somebody might get there quad back.

They opened one here and there were regularly 12 hour wait times on the weekend. It’s not as bad now but they still hold the number 2 spot for liquor sales in San Antonio. That place just prints money.
