Titanium repair / welder out there?

Hi everyone,

On the exhaust system I have, the titanium welds where the muffler and the pipe come together, have cracked.

I need to find a titanium welder in the Los Angeles area but can't seem to find anyone that can do such a simple repair!

If you have the name of anyone out there in the Los Angeles area sent it my way asap! I can't have my exhaust falling on on the races in two weeks!

have you tried any local machine shops? I had a guy at a local shop weld a shield on mine when i wrecked he did a really good job, he didn't even have to use filler.

 

wow he must be pretty good at his job.

 

Might try calling some local bicycle shops to get a lead. Some very skilled welders out there building and repairing titanium bike frames.
