So if I'm reading this correct you've got 2 gays, we'll call them Gay-1 and Gay-2. Gay-1's 61-year old mom is surrogate for the fetus which is comprised of Gay-2's sister's egg and Gay-1's sperm.

 

It brings up an interesting point though, and coincidentally enough, published in the WP just yesterday. The number of Americans NOT having sex has reached an all-time high, and somewhat not surprisingly the demographic that is leading the charge are young 20-something men. The age group that you'd stereotypically think is banging everything in site like dogs is in fact having the least sex of all.

There's a good bit of deleterious outcomes that can result from a perfect storm of shit like this. Young men with their testosterone and sex drive levels the highest they will be in their lives have sex taunted and dangled in front of their faces morning/noon/night be it in person on TV or the internet and social media, but they aren't satiating it in a healthy constructive way (unless you consider porn and whatnot to be a healthy outlet). You hear these stories like that little turd Elliot Roger shooting up a crowd of innocent people because he couldn't get his pee-pee wet. Which isn't to say that anyone is ENTITLED to anything by any stretch, I guess its the apathetic nature of most younger dudes these days.

The article doesn't really get into whether these men are celibate as a matter of choice or of circumstance. My guess would be circumstance.

 

Well that's just it.

I'd be interested to know how much of it is a choice driven by fear for instance vs a choice driven by what you might call desensitization or indifference maybe. If these guys are constantly bombarded with sex from every direction eventually you might become somewhat numb to it and just think, mehh it's not worth the effort to bother.

I agree, I go out enough and see what happens out there. Plenty of it is dudes going out and posturing around like toolboxes and still going home alone. The majority of women out there are disinterested in the majority of men.

It's OKCupid's data and likely a bit skewed, but not skewed so far as to make it completely unreliable as I see it happening out there in the real world.

Men's expectations of women's performance in bed is skewed from watching too much porn, and women's (even plain average women) expectations of themselves are skewed by having their egos constantly fed by an army of anonymous dudes on social media (and even in the real world) giving them a never-ending barrage of likes and thirst-driven comments like calling them "perfect", "goddess", "gorgeous" etc etc etc in their comments under the latest picture they posted on Instagram.

This and the false accusations females can make/get away with might make them think twice. Add the entitled attitudes in with everything, and I'm sure some guys will take matters into their own hands.

I think its the ever increasing number of single mother raised males, the vilification of "toxic masculinity" thats given rise to the soyboy beta cuck generation that young women, as much as they say thats the type of man they want, dont actually want them. Combine this subconcious mental beating that young men get on a daily basis that they are evil simply for having a dick, with the rise of social distancing via ironically social media which doesnt foster in person interaction and you get this.

Also, rise of MGTOW/ Red Pill culture (which i totally understand) and its no wonder most dudes are simply saying "fuck it, it aint worth it"

Its like when you were younger and saw that totally hot, but crazy and STD infected chick everyone had a turn at...would you risk having bareback sex with her? Would the baby jail/dick falling off be worthy of the few minutes of pleasure? That same mentality is being applied to larger and larger segment of women. Women who bring very little value to the table but expect to be treated like the princesses that social media and their friends and family have instilled in them since day 1. ( you can be anything you want if you believe in it!) Hint: No you cant!

You want the guys to write a proverbial cheque towards a woman who wants all the benefits of todays society without any of the negatives, who at the drop of a hat can decide that she isnt happy and ride off into the sunset with half your shit best case scenario, half your shit, alimony and child support payments for 18+ year in a worse case scenario?
You get to be the provider, while she doesnt have to cook, clean, take care of the house...

There really aren't very much of any unless you want to have kids and raise them in a home. These last couple generations are the first where both men and women have been raised (through necessity or whatever) with a complete skillset needed to get by on their own.

As a man you don't need a woman to cook and clean and whatnot because you've been doing it for yourself for years already (I know I have).....and as a woman you don't need a man to bring home the bacon because you make your own living at a job and pay your own rent, etc etc. Our society and culture have bred us to lead silo'd off existences from one another (not just from a significant other, but all people in general) and made marriage and LTR's less and less worthwhile.
