David Emmett reported that Zarco himself verbally confirmed it, so this should be interesting! https://motomatters.com/news/2019/10/11/johann_zarco_to_replace_takaaki_nakagami.html
So is this a good place to ask about Joe Roberts? What does his career trajectory look like now that he's back of the pack in Moto2? Didn't his teammate win the last round?
I was wondering if Joe and his teammate are on the exact spec bike cause I saw how well he did last round.
It seems like he's crashed maybe too much so he's not getting along with whatever bike he's been given to ride.
Be prepared for the crowd of, "How dare you speak ill of an American racing overseas - regardless of his place finishes (assuming he finishes) and lack of success." Almost never fails.
Yep! I like the kid and hope he can put something together and improve his results whether with the current team or another team. I pull for him every race.
Seems there's a few algorithms that need to execute before we can call this a done deal. Nakagami selecting to treat his 'sudden' shoulder issue. KTM actually releasing Zarco (Lawyers are involved). Yamahe in all this? They may want Zarco to run the test.... This whole thing is odd.
Going to be funny if zarco does awesome on the Honda after ktm says it doesn't want Yamaha riders because their bike is like the Honda. Or it's just not a great bike...
I think the only major upgrade he doesn’t have is the swingarm at this point. His motors may also be 2018 spec.
I’m curious to see how Zarco does. At least it gives us some hope for some late silly season speculations and months of stuff to argue over.
Jorge went ok on the 2018 and look at how it is going on the 2019 bike ....... Even if Zarco doesn't suck it big time in these three rounds, I don't see him on the 2019 bike doing better than he was on the KTM. Though I have been wrong before.....
Word on the street is that Crutchlow is hanging up the boots and Zarco will be Nakagamis teammate next year. An Italian friend just told me.
