Jeeze. What a mess this has become. Max and I may not see totally eye to eye on everything here but that's life. I won't hold anything against him as I'm sure he won't either. And when I see him I'll gladly shake his hand and introduce myself. And I'm sure we'll have an interesting conversation about life in general [IMG] Enough said. Let that one die.

Man it occured to me these posts is like Democrats versus Republicans. Unions versus Management. Capitalism versus Socialism.

You can argue with the facts until you are blue in the face and numb in the hands, but the other side just won't get it, regardless which side you are on. But it has been entertaining!

As for me, I ordered a Woodcraft stand but would have ordered a Pit Bull had I known about their change in policy in time. Max is getting my forks because by all accounts he's the best, even if we disagree about politics :)

Anybody up for a group buy on Penske shocks? [IMG]

  6. I can arrange that! The RETAIL PRICES ARE.... HAHAHAHAHAHA

Unfortunately, all of you racers who snoozed on buying a shock over the "off season" (what off season?) the standard Penske went up $25 on 1 1 02.

I appreciate you all entertaining my passionate vent, I do apologize if I was sharp tongued, I didn't hope to be personal with anyone, and in all honesty, I was just compelled to stick up for a stand up guy, who I can REALLY identify with. I shot an entire day yesterday spouting off at the keyboard, and now I have to go to work!!!

We are building our new shop right now, and our trailer is off being prettied up for the 02 season. If I don't get this shop built, we won't have a place to do anybodies suspension!!! Talk to you soon,

Wal Mart has been doing this and putting smaller companies out of business for years. They sell products at no profit to put smaller companies out of business all over the country... they have lost a couple of lawsuits over it too.

Someone once said to me, "Loyalty only goes so far then it turns into stupidity." [IMG]

I have mix feelings about the subject at hand. I do not think that Max's philosophy on employee loyalty applies to all businesses but does apply to his. In a business that produces products at a high rate it would be stupid to not go with someone that can do the job for 20% less. That is what automation is all about too. But the employees that provide a technical service and deal with customersthen the loyalty thing is a little more important. You will keep the person that costs a little more rather than taking a chance on some gung ho new guy.

    I'll stop babbling now. [IMG]

    G 97...

    I didnt start this thread.

Max is a friend. I trust MAx.

NESBA had on their BBS a deal that was WRONG.

Dont try to make this an Alex is a bad guy thing because he does not ride with or support NESBA.

Yes there is no love between me and NESBA. You dont know the whole story.

This isnt the place for stuff like that.

    So stop it.

Matt!! Hello and its nice to hear from you. I am shoveling the 12" of snow here in RTP!!

I hear some good things about you, you should email me at [email protected]....

Alex the NESBA deal is wrong because Max said so or because an AUTHORIZED Penske dealer gave a group they sponsor a deal? The deal offered was no different than racers getting a discount from Max. If a racer is sponsored by Traxxion does that racer pay full retail? Sorry to keep this going but I must be the idiot because I do not see the difference. Again Max does great work or else he would not be where he is so Alex stop trying to make this a war on the work Max does. There is NO WAR just a difference of opinion. Decisions will be made by all for their own behalf, and I thought it was done so leave it. And Alex if you have a problem with NESBA go there and voice it. By the way nice Race Tech stickers on your bike that you claim Max does all the work on.

    Pete...

I never used the word war...

If the deal was legal and perfect I wonder why PENSKE listened to Max at all???

All the work I have had done at Traxxion was at FULL RETAIL, No discounts!! Just free stickers.

The Race-Tech stickers on the bike, are Race-Tech stickers. They were there last year and are there not there this year. By the way I have stickers on my bike because I want them there. Amazing.

    They could be there again.

I guess you didnt see the TRAXXION stickers on the forks and body??? Maybe the lumps of coal blocked your view?

Got to go now, want to make sure the stickers onthe bike havent migrated...

Well Alex just because they listened does not mean they acted. As a matter of fact our deal is still available, if you have a membership card. And as far as you missing the point well I guess you just don't get it. I guess NESBA is bad for promoting a product and getting a break on the cost. And you can post a reply and have the last word because this is now going down a different road.

I paid full price from Max to, I would like to have paid cheaper but he is the MAN for suspension and I trust his products and opinion! We raced back in 97 on 125's practically leaning on each other in the turns so I trust his riding and his products well.

You know, I was tempted to post all the gory details about NESBA's dealings with Mr Dydula, and the reasons why we are no longer affiliated. But then I read back through all of his posts and I realised he did an awfully good job of making my case for me all on his own.

And Alex - in correcting your earlier assumption blasting NESBA for offering the deal - I believe you'r beef would be with the vendor who offered it to US. I'm sure you'd turn such a deal down on principal.

Ok, I got a lunch break, time to insert my $.02......

Max, [please forgive me the indulgence of addressing you informally, since we have never met. Hi, I'm Sean Jordan. Now we've met. I'll continue on with my unsolicted opinions now. [IMG]] I can see how your original post was relevant to the earlier discussion regarding the changes in pricing policy and sales methods by Arai and Pit Bull. While the post did bring up many good points, it smacks of propagandistic rhetoric, and really seems like much ado about nothing. (To borrow from Willy the Bard.) I can see the philsophical/economic points to your argument, but I don't think this one guy in PA offering a deal to NESBA members had the even the remotest potential of doing your business, (or any other business in the industry) real and lasting harm. (And I most certainly don't see it as being "un-ethical", as some of your supporters seem to be intimating.) In fact, your flying out to meet with Penske regarding the whole manner seems to me heavy handed and overreactive. I understand your concerns, and think they are valid ones, but I don't think they were really applicable to this particular case. And to go so far as to imply the other parties involved were "cut-rate mail order scams" was particularly rabid and irresponsible. I realize that you're merely protecting your business and your interests, but don't you think you're making a bit of a mountain out of a molehill? This is merely my take on the matter, as limited as my knowledge of the subject and perspective may be.

Also, I have to agree with Papa, that there has been some stuff posted on this subject that is so devoid of merit, it makes the most inane-Tard-drivel rival seem like the Wisdom of the Ages. I think JU calls is "mindless cheerleading".

That being said, as far as I can tell, Traxxion has the best reputation going, and from all given results, that reputation is well deserved. If it were me running the show, I'd just sit back and let my success speak for itself.

i just love all the business analysts that are in here. spouting what they learned in a book, claiming to be much smarter than people who actually MAKE money in business. max is simply making a point on ethics. people on here who have nothing to say, only to bash other people's comments and support should just lurk. now all we need is this ONE individual on here making fart sounds with his armpit, and totally sidetracking the discussion. [IMG]

ps.wahhh waaahhh waaaaahhhh my forks don't work and now i'm going to get someone else to do them. wwwwaaaaahhhhhh!!! PLEASE ?!?! [IMG]

    Dutch,

I would be glad to post all the gory deatils of our dealings with Brand X. I have nothing to hide, but this is NOT the arena.

You have NO idea what the real story is. I have emails dating way back in time outling many great promises, never kept...you only think you know the truth...thats ok with me.

Seeing how your now an 'official' spokesman for this org, congratulations.

The deal was on this orgs website, by a member of the org for members of the org...it smelled.

A WERA member , I like and trust, was being jumped on by this other orgs members that are WERA members....thats ok, but it works both ways...you support your unbiased cause, and I will support mine.

You want to contact me about the other orgs dealings, I am in the book. Just get ALL the facts. Being a control rider for some orgs can make you Blind, I know because I was there!
