Taylormade Racing “Czecher” GSX-R 750 141 HP 339 LBS TJ_150506_8738 by ryanrc333, on Flickr For sale is this 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 750. $12,500 obo. This super-light street and track bike was built by Taylormade Racing and was a precursor to their all carbon chassis Moto2 bike. I’ve attached a feature article that Cycle World wrote for their March ’06 issue when they reviewed and tested the bike on the road and on the track. It’s a great read and has all the details of the bike specs and riding impressions. Motorcycle-USA: “I wondered how to explain what a phenomenal piece of hardware this motorcycle is. A motorcycle that in the right hands is going to make a mockery of just about anything on two wheels. One that is going to provide the hard-core trackday enthusiast with the ultimate adrenaline rush, wrapped in a package that has such intense limits that few people will ever get close to testing them. Open-class horsepower in a package that is lighter and slicker than the hottest middleweight, it really is racebike with lights. As one man's vision of what a sportbike should be, I have to conclude by agreeing the Czecher SuperLite is just what Paul Taylor states: "The ultimate trackday motorcycle." To briefly summarize the build; all of the bodywork, gas tank, air intake and plenum, dash, complete monocoque tail section, front brake rotors, and wheels are carbon fiber. Hypercycle built engine with Yoshimura race ECU and handle bar switch selectable track or street fuel/ignition maps. Suspension by Lindemann Engineering. There’s a lot of detail in the Cycle World article (I can email you a higher res PDF) and here’s also a link to the track test by Motorcycle-USA. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/233/320/Motorcycle-Article/2006-Czecher-SuperLite-Track-Test.aspx Since the initial project build the Czecher bike has been under the care of one owner and kept in a climate controlled room. Very few miles have been added to the bike as evidenced by the wear on the Pirelli tires that are original to the initial build. Actual mileage is not known as there is no odometer. I’m happy to answer any questions about the Czecher bike and it is available for viewing by appointment in the Pomona area 951-377-079zero. Looking for local pickup, but you can give me a call if you need other arrangements. Hello whitarnold. It's a GSX-R 750, as advertised in the description and articles. The sticker on the side of the upper fairing that's probably drawing your question is Paul Taylor's playing with names in that he used a mold of his AMA Superbike R1 monocoque tail and changed it a bit for this GSXR. Hence his sticker GSX-R1. I asked the same question myself.
Bump for carbon, carbon, and more carbon fiber! Seriously, just sitting on it and flicking left/right the lack of mass makes a big impression. Almost concerning, like somethings missing because it's not normal. Bump!
OMG I have been wondering about this bike since I last saw Haskovec a few years back in laguna!!! I almost want to just hug and hold it before the new owner takes it away.......
