No that is not what I am saying. They are making an argument based on how things will effect them and their country. I do not care how it will effect them because we are not electing the president of the universe, it is for the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. They may have some valid points on how the U.S. effects their lives but that should not be the concern of the American voter. We should be concerened how the candidates will effect our lives and our country.
THAT I TOTALLY AGREE WITH. The other day, I was talking politics with some Italians at work. They were saying that Bush's US foreign policies were terrible etc. I told them - you work for Pirelli, do you take into account what Michelin wants when we make a decision??? are your loyalities to Pirelli, or the whole tire industry??? Bush's JOB is to the do the best thing for the USA - and NO ONE ELSE. They did see my point - but then continued like they hadn't.
I can't believe you busted on me about broad generalizations last week! I'm convinced alot of europeans are here for the weather also.
Except for France. Depending upon who wins this election France could be calling the shots over here.
Damn skippy! But I think I could be very successful bringing the Donner Kebab to America. I could empty the drunks out of Waffle House when my Kebab's catch on. Ahhhhh, dare to dream.
At least the Saudi's have oil which is something we need. We have plenty of rude arrogant people already.
I personally think Dave is being a complete asshole, Robert is a model BBS citizen. He is respectful, forms a good argument then walks away.
I only limp away when my nose gets rubbed in it. Btw, my brother is american. I think I finally convinced him this morning to vote for Kerry!
He did some legal work for Dave once, during which time he was obliged to go through Dave's briefs (and handle his subpoena).
