Ive never been to summit before and I am in need of some info. I checked out the website and map websites, So What is the best/quickest way to get there from the Southeast and how long will it take??? Im in Charlotte, NC so Is it better to go 77 or 85 to 95 ect.... I also wanted to know what the Camping Rules were. I know there was more info that I wanted to find out, but I've had a long day at work and I'm brain dead right now... So any other info you may have would be helpful as well. Thanks
Take I-77 North about 125 miles Take the 1-81/US-11N exit (#32) Take I-81 N for about 245 miles Take the Berryville Pike exit (#315) towards Berryville (VA Rte 7) Turn left on Berryville Pike Go about 9 miles Just before you pass through Berryville (and the VA Rt 7/Hwy 340 interchange), go left on Rt 632. Go until it ends, then right on Rt 761. Go until it ends, then right on Rt 13. Go about 300 yds and the entrance is on your right. Hope this helps!
