STT Monticello May 30-31

    Next up is Memorial day weekend at Monticello Motor Club. On Sunday, May 30, we're running the south course and on Memorial day, Monday, the 31st, we're doing the "66" configuration. This should be an excellent weekend! who's in?

    I'll be there on Monday for the 66. First time I'll be running with STT - Novice.

    full course is the "outsides" of n & s , 66 is the n w/ the "infield" of the south , fun layout

    Lance, would you say that the South course is more friendly for motards?

    Or is the North shorter/twistier?

    I'd say that the south course is more motard friendly, if only because of its shorter straight. both the North and the South are relatively technical tracks- either would be good for a motard, actually.
    As far as I know, we'll be the first club to run the 66. I have run the Full Monti course, & it's an awesome layout, fast, flowing and quite technical. the 66 is 2/3's of the full course with the full back straight, it should be great as well.

    Lance - have you somehow convinced Dave to skip the chicane at the end of the back straight?

    I haven't spoken to David on that regard. Ultimately, that decision rests between David and Mike Sons,aka MotorbykeMike, our safety director. I personally don't care, I just wanna ride.

    South course is fun and the 66 will be just as fun. The north and south are both very nice tracks. Cant wait!!!
