Spring rate tolerances

    Anybody know how exact the printed rates are on Ohlins springs? I'm pretending to be a mathemagician and doing some calculations. :D

    I think that with in 2% is acceptable, a 95 measuring 0.93kgf/cm is ok to me. You may just need to add a bit more pre-load.

    I always measure them, but that just do that so that I can play later with pretty curves in excel.

    All of our springs are closer to what they are marked than the number higher or lower, but none of them are dead nuts on either.:D

    Pro suspension guys calibrate their springs and engrave them. I find the stamped number is close, but not always accurate. a .95 will be somewhere from .93 to .97.
