ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! We now have an entry form for the Spring Classic up on WERA Vintage's home page in the Forms menu. It's a .PDF so almost all of you should be able to download and print a copy. Tell your friends and spread the word that it is available. Grid positions will be determined on a first entered-first gridded basis.
Although my memory gets a little fuzzy after only a few days, but at the Pre-Daytona last year I believe the races were split into standalone classes without the normal combining of classes within one race. When will the race schedule be published for the 2003 Spring Classic. Inquiring minds want to know Thanks
That's what I would like to know too! As soon as I hear the details I'll post them here. I don't think we'll be able to run stand alone races though since we'll be adding extra stuff like sidecars and an "old farts" race...er I mean, a race for "the more chronologically experienced" among us. (I did write "chronologically" and not "chronically", right?)
Once I was able to find my way home after work, I checked the schedule from last year and only a couple of races had two classes on the track at the same time. Race 1 - Formula 2-stroke & V4 Race 4 - 350GP & Formula RD There was time to run the final Race 13 - Old Fart, er Over 50 The reason this is important is some riders might run more classes if there isn't a conflict. Being old & feable minded I will be the one at the back of grid because I forgot to send in my entry
