Though he hath forsaken us for Yamaka still he is honored. And the best WSBK season I can remember. Now I think I'm going down to the well tonight and I'm going to drink till I get my fill And I hope when I get old I don't sit around thinking about it but I probably will Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture a little of the glory of, well time slips away and leaves you with nothing mister but boring stories of glory days Glory days well they'll pass you by Glory days in the wink of a young girl's eye Glory days, glory days
I was there today and Spies was there buying New Balance 1080s. No sale on Sambas at mine, I checked. But I tried on Ligas and might switch.
open the image in a new tab, its a pic of Spies and Dovi getting ready or just finishing riding dirt bikes https://www.instagram.com/p/BLBhGTag_cW/
Every time I'm driving around the lake, I'm always expecting to run into Ben around the next corner. Weird, I know.
Guess his shoulder is ok now if he can MX. I thought at one point it would become dislocated when he was sleeping?
I think it's specific motions that will do it - like braking on a roadrace bike - rather than bouncing. He can ride streetbikes too I'm sure and maybe even race but can't push it as had as GP takes.
Seeing the recent picture of Spies stirs up memories of his transitions from AMA to World Superbike. Exciting time to be a racing fan.
