https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1959-heinkel-kabine-153/ Looks like An Isetta, but repowered with a Fireblade motor. AWESOME. If ever death on wheels had a look, this is it.
There's a vw bug, and another vw kit car with a hayabusa motor in it on marketplace right now. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/582132852726690
I have s friend that has an Isetta with a Mazda rotary in it. I think they were beat out in the craziest build competition by a suped up zamboni. This comp was sponsored by a racing org.
So are these things any better than the Reliant Robin around corners? I would think the two-front wheel layout much better, ala things like the Slingshot.
Get that and you and @Knolly can reenact the battle of Britian. Him in hos Morgan, you in your Heinkel.
I assume you are joking? If not, that is in the city I live in, I could put some eyeballs on it for you.
Ha. That car was built by Chris Washburn of Crashburn Cycles here in London. He named the car Bodybag. Went through 2 transmissions before buying one out of Cali that was build to dune buggy tough specs. 1st one lasted 1km after getting it running. Blew it out on trying to light up the tires.
Not really joking, but not buying either right now.. Dad had an Isetta and it was fun to drive around. This thing would be doubly fun. The Isetta would top out at 45mph. This thing should easily do Hwy speeds and would turn heads when it was heard.
