Okay, engine pic for the injun, per your request!
Other than being an inline four, not sure what it shares with the R1 platform. 20231112_100445.jpg

It might share the same oil filter as an R1. Nice pic.

Cool stuff, and they supercharge them…. Neat!

yeah doesn’t look like an old R1 anymore… the ones in the first 4 stroke snowmobiles and PWC were undeniably the same…

Yeah the ones I have aren't super charged. Probably a good thing, as the gas down here can be questionable sometimes.

Ok two more pics. Just finished putting the name on my "shitty jet boat".
It's in remembrance of my dad. His boat was named Kick-N- Back.

He used to tease my brothers and sisters when we would say "we were just kicking back".
Slang from back in the day for "chillin" or "hanging out".
When he retired from ma bell he got the boat and named it Kick- N-Back.

    I miss him.

You’re on the Sea of Cortez side right? What is the boat a 23’er? 45mph of smooth boating with no worries about hitting anything in shallow coastal areas seems smart to me…

one of the coolest oceanic adventures I’ve ever had was in a 16’ inflatable on a whale watching run out around the arch down in Cabos…. One more reason a jet drive would be better…. You can play with the whales and not worry about a prop…. :D

No reason to be sorry, it's pretty funny to me too.
I'm glad I miss my dad, I'd hate to have had one I didn't miss.
Hope my boys feel the same.

Yep, Sea of Cortez. Look up Mulege. We are just north of there.
We've gotten into dolphins, whale sharks, orcas. Been really glad we didn't have a prop.

Probably the only regrets your boys will have is "dad bought a shitty jet boat":D

Thanks, grandma took them, about a month ago. He's 2.5, stayed overnight for the first time that weekend, went really well. Stayed last weekend too, he loves to ride on anything so we have to do farm tractor rides and 4 wheeler rides multiple times. Now that him staying over is no problem mom and dad are glad to get rid of him. When my wife dropped him off they said " you can come get him anytime ". Terrible 2's are starting I think.

That's a 2 year old you know, right? Nearly 2 1/2 year old. The 'months' are for those that have yet to reach the 'years' classification.
