I have some local property I want do sell, and invest in something further away from a major thoroughfare. It will bring a good price, but I've got to find another property first, to do the tax exchange.

I think I get it... You have the building for bike rental in the summer, other dude has it in the winter for ski rental.

I wonder if you guys share a storage unit in which you stash your inventory during your off period.

That sounds like a pretty smart plan for both of you.

 

Smart ones do both
Couple guys in my area rent dirt bikes and SxS's in summer and ski and timber sleds in winter.
One has bicycle shop, sells bicycles in summer and ski's in winter.
We only have 2 season around here so it makes sense to do both.
