Seymour is gone

Our big goofy racer boy, Seymour, is gone. He had bone cancer in his right front leg. He was 9 years old and we had 4 beautiful years with him. May he be running around the rainbow bridge with all the other rescue greyhounds. We miss you buddy.

Very sorry for your loss. We raise and show Alaskan Malamutes and we keep all our champions. When their time comes it is always hard. God speed to your little friend and may their full happiness on the other side of the rainbow bridge help you in some way with the emptiness you feel right now.

Losing the first dog I ever had on my own (not one I had while living at my parents) was something I completely underestimated emotionally. I feel for ya.

Dogs truly are mankind's best friend.

Thanks everyone. Still having a hard time sleeping. Just can't stop seeing him whenever I close my eyes. He was my first greyhound and my heart dog. A dream Don made possible.
