They shouldn't really waste many resources on this. 4 scum bags off the street, case closed. I bet they were going to rob a decent size dealer who they knew had a pile of cash.

 

The fact that a couple of their phones went to salvage yards makes me think that they were trying to rob a scrap yard. Those places have shitloads of cash on hand. BUT... they also routinely interact with questionable people, and they are highly likely to have firearms readily available to protect their cash.
