Broke into my van. It was in the front and they broke the passenger window. There's a cage seperating the back. They couldn't get into the back of it... My stupidity rushing and not making sure everything was in the back.

I normally don't. I've been working 15 hour days and don't live near my garage and messed up by not throwing the stuff in the back like I normally would otherwise. And if you ever had anything stolen from you, you wouldn't be on here asking why. Not everything can be 100% secure all of the time. Shit happens. Obviously I fucked up somewhat but we all do at some point.
I'll keep an out out for them. One of the many things I've learned living in west philly is you can't even keep some spare change in a visible area of your car, or bandanas..
In Philly they'd probably throw a brick through your window and then leave you a note saying "Just checking."
I've lived in philly my whole life, I know the deal... I've had my windows broken before but this is the first time anything was ever actually stolen because I've always been good about not leaving anything to steal.
