    Sad as it makes me to say this, he could very well be. Davie is many things but he's not all that slow. Is he national level fast? No. But he's definitely regional level fast.

    Not sure why any websites bought into the BS, especially since the first versions of the first press release said the guy was the multi-time National Endurance Champion--the National Endurance Championship has been run by WERA for 30+ years and the guys' name doesn't appear anyplace in the records of that hallowed series. And then there were the claims of his "backer" somehow being connected to the racing success of Graeme Crosby and various other racers back in the day, when I never saw him around. So I didn't run the release, and didn't run his irate letter addressed to the TT organizers. The whole thing set off my BS detector.
