It's an idiosyncrasy, but I can't stand Epiphone headstocks.

 

This is gorgeous, but more than I want to spend. Pretty cherry for 45 year old guitar though!

I've never really liked the 355s. I prefer the florentine cutaways to venetians, and I like the deep body of the 175.

 

No you're right they are ugly as hell.

 

Did you peep at Rickenbackers? They travel horribly but have a wicked cool, unique sound.

 

They're cool, but they don't really do anything for me. (Well, I could be tempted by one of the 12 string models.) But I've been lusting after 175s for decades.
