Met Kurt once.....just one time! It was at the last JGP Endurance Race in 2015. Right away he offered me a beer & some food on the grill! Instantly made me feel at home in his pit. Felt like you'd known him longer. Just a dayum all around good guy! GODspeed Kurt!!
Godspeed Kurt and Rest in Peace. You were truly one of the genuinely good people on the planet. The word will be a lesser place with you gone.
RIP racer brother .... I'm devastated at hearing this and still at a loss for words. Kurt was a good friend and I will miss him dearly.
Simply gutted to hear this. Hearts and minds to all his family and friends. Our first excursion to the east coast to do some endurance racing at Road A, I meet up with a dude ina cowboy hat around one of the electrical service stands, and he politely corrected my "Oh you're Kessler -- the dude that can handle a chainsaw while floating down a creek on a log!" Genuine article and the type of guy that makes racing more than just racing. Montar el viento, Amigo.
Just when you think 2017 can't be any worse it does. Kurt seemed like a great dude and he'll be missed. My prayers are with his friends and family.
