We lost a great friend and WERA racer earlier, Kurt Kesler. He and his family were involved in an accident traveling back home from a Thanksgiving lunch. Both kids are ok and released from the hospital but his wife Deidra is still there for injuries and observation. Hopefully she will get to go home soon. Kurt was a close friend and just a good guy. I'll relay any information I get about his services here as soon as I get it. Godspeed Yo, I'll miss you brother.
I just started to hang out with him more over the last couple years... We were hanging out at the gate together at the GNF talking about work and family ect having a beer or 2.... Prayers for his family and friends.. He will be missed for sure.. damn.....
I hate to see this. Kurt will be missed. http://accesswdun.com/article/2017/...fter-fatal-thanksgiving-wreck-in-banks-county
Son of a bitch..... I can't even to express how much this sucks to hear. He was without a doubt one of the single nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Always in a good mood and at the track to enjoy himself and those around him. Rest in piece Kurt.
I am in total disbelief right now and wish this was some sort of sick joke, I know it isn't though. Sad, sad day.
Damn. Hard to believe that driving down the road with your family in your car is more dangerous than racing motorcycles. Prayers.
