Any one want to venture an estimate of what it will take to buy this machine?
Seems 100% fresh and properly built.

    perhaps $ 25k ?

This appears to be one thoroughly detailed project bike!
    What a machine!

I am trying to talk myself out of it and ususaly don't win those arguements.

No that would be way overpriced. you can buy a YZR replica framed track bike from www.micoproducts.net for about $20k. Throw some carbon, ti, magnesium wheels at it for the $25k your suggesting

RGV 500 OLD, but still FAST

I'm putting together the Suzuki version of the RGV500

The time/money comment is pretty accurate.

I had to drop $200 for a new petcock, adapter, and fuel line. The stock RGV valve would not even come close to the amount of flow required to feed one of these critters.

Almost EVERYTHING is custom in some way.....just the way it goes.

Hey chuck have you built one ...............you D superbike champ you .........

just a couple of example of costs, that JMC swing arm was over 1400... motor well over 5k

funny you talk about value ,,your in the same business as I ..... in a way

That would be like me saying your best paint work is over priced by the value you gave it being it was custom ..........Its okay there's always 1 just like ....you

Sweet bike no doubt! As all of us strokers know, you NEVER sell them for anything near what you have into them (time and sweat included)! I've always lost $ at the end of the day, but I don't build 'em to make money; I just like to piss off all my San Francisco eco-friendly neighbors!

    Trades???? Full or partial????

Whats the scoop with the front headlight you mentioned? Different nose piece?

agreed ....but my though process is a little different ....Everybody values things differently . But at the end of the day you dont roll into a yamaha shop and buy one of these...... like a D superbike"cough".... and if that certain person really wants one of these bikes .........Thats the guy that will get it......if not I will continue to enjoy it ........maybe ill race it who knows .....as for trades I think I have most of them ........just missed a Desmo .....thats the only one I really care about ...but Thank you ........and oval light fits neatly under the frt fairing ........also they would hear you coming from LA ...its very very loud ....ear bleed type

you couldn't build one for $20k. Thats a fact. Unless you got a steal on an excellent RZ Donor bike and did most of the mechanical and fabrication work yourself.

just got the motor back from Madmann engineering. Its built to the max..race gas premix only..as it sits, its the strongest RZ I've ridden. I'm still getting the carbs dialed, bought new needles and emulsion tubes..just waiting on new slides..I'm expecting between 110-120 hp rwhp..
P.S. you should have bought my Desmo..it went cheap!
