As soon as you have less than 0.5mm difference on the friction plates (between the sections) or the steel plates look burned. Measure the whole stack (steel and friction) and I compare it with a new one. Our clutch lasted about 5-6 race weekends on small tracks where the clutch is being slipped quite frequently if that helps.
