RIP Shoya Tomizawa

Tragic past couple of weeks....prayers go out to all that knew them...

 

I have the race on my laptop, but I can't bring myself to watch it. Watching the 800 race last night, Toby Moody comes on after the rostrum finishers make it to parc ferme and makes the announcement. Julian Ryder said some words and you could tell he was on verge of tears the entire time. Awful thing. Rossi, Pedro, and Jorge seemed the same way on their post race interviews.

 

The race was amazing up to that point. Then I still can't believe there was no red flag with an abulance deployed on track immidietly.......

they said it wasnt safe enough to red flag but it was safe enough for corner working to run out on a hot track and pickup him up mid corner?

 

Yeah.. several people have posted up about the way it was handled.. Horribly tragic. Reminded me of Craig Jones right away.
