Some of you surely remember Ben Clinton. He was a WERA and CCS guy who cornered low and was a stand up guy... charter boat captain and always helpful and fun. He died this week of an apparent suicide. RIP racer.
Would not have had the chance to have met him. If he was as grounded as could be, makes me wonder why he took his own life? Tired of all the BS I guess- I feel the same way, RIP sir
tis why this is suprising. He seemed to have a really good life, house, money, hobbies, a good woman, etc on the outside. When he walked away from racing... he said that he didnt have the commitment to take racing to the next level.
Good friend for a long time and a stand up dude. Knew him well five years ago. Not sure what happened. Dude was fast and let me ride/race a few of his rides. Ducati 699 at Jennings, SV650 Endurance at RRR, Duck 899 at Road Atlanta. Fuck.
Shit. This is terrible. Great dude, helped me a ton my novice season. Have a bunch of great memories of him. RIP my man.
Wow Pretty sure he bought my old 800ss that used to be Jason Padilla's. Seemed like a good dude when I met him
