Reporter tries to buy gun. Ends up proving what we already know.

    I was able to buy a hand gun same day as the background check. I did have to wait about 3 weeks for my CCW permit to come though. I did not have to take the CCW class normally required for the permit application since I am Active Duty military...so that was nice.

    We don't even have CCW permits in NH.
    If you can legally possess the gun you can
    carry it however you want.
    Amazingly, NH didn't turn into the Wild West
    when we dropped CCW permits. This is a
    gun-saturated state with a low crime rate and
    few shootings, go figure.

    no waiting for me in FL. Show cc permit, fill out purchase paper work, pay sales clerk, carry out.
    You can test fire what ever models are in stock, for no charge or range fee, if you buy the ammo at the counter & give your DL. Registration or declaration?? Just seems odd
