I been thinking, in the old days most of ours saints and prophets claimed to see or hear God (e.g. Moses and a talking burning bush, Saint Theresa seeing the Virgin Mary, etc). If someone makes those claims today, they get searched for a crack pipe, locked up in a psych ward and pumped full of drugs to stop the hallucinations. If I showed up at the track, claimed I was the messiah, and fed the entire paddock with one can of sardines and three packs of Twinkees... would I get canonized, crucified or arrested?
I asked that same question of the Jehovah's Witnesses that would always come to the house. They stopped coming.
it depends............. It depends on who you talked to in the paddock as to what would happen.........As for me, I like Tony's idea of a steak and some money..........
