If they didn't sponsor nearly damn near EVERYTHING i wonder what their product would cost?

 

they got about $0.10 inside the can and another $0.05 for the can

So why do motocrossers "tail whip" when they jump? Is it showboating, or does it serve an actual purpose?

 

Leaning the bike off the jump face helps it fly lower so you spend less time in the air.

 

Its called "scrubbing", its different from whipping.

Red Bull does cool shit. I happen to like the product as well. I really like it when my photographer buddy gives me cases of it.

After all the stupid shit he's done, I hope people dont forget why it's called the "bubba scrub" the man changed the game with the way he started doing that..

 

Haven't drank that piss in a can in years. I do however really like the promotional side of the company. Sure Monster and Rock Star sponsor a lot of motor sport teams. But Red Bull is every where, creates there own "sports" like the fluge tog (sp), the crashed ice down hill skating, and who knows how many other thins we don't even know about. Their marketing guys are no dummies.

 

Pretty much the sickest photo ever. The crazy thing is that this is in a race, not just laying it flat for the camera.

 

Was funny listening to Pastrana talking about scrubbing on the singles.

There is a vid, I'm sure it's on youtube, showing Bubba scrubbing in super-slow-mo with him describing how he does it. It's pretty amazing to watch it, seeing his grip only a couple of inches off the ground as he goes over the top of the jump.
