There's a Norton on BaT currently:
That’s a 72. Drum front brake and a 750. Turd!
74 disk brake and 850cc!!!
BAT viewers look forward to reading your insight and wisdom on motorcycles - it's expressed with such grace and elegance.
It’s a ‘70, not a ‘72. Real men ride with drum brakes.
Id say the ducati would be better on Iconic Motorbikes.
I personally prefer the 74, but the 850 is no faster than the 750, and that front disc brake might not be as effective as you think. Now, load my Norton in your truck and bring it to me. You can go back to Pensacola with a heap of worn out race bikes.
To get back to the warning that I've received, you might take it with however many grains of salt you wish, that the brown acid that is circulating around us is not specifically too good. It's suggested that you do stay away from that. Of course it's your own trip, so be my guest.
I got the very same warning in 1979. True story. I am not making this up.
