If I remember right, sprints are around 12 minutes or so. Solos last around a half hour.

Races go by number of laps, so it varies a little.

8-20 laps depending on which race and how many redflags slow you down

Say an average track length is 2 mile. A normal sprint race is 8 laps which will make it 16 miles in total race distance, and a normal solo race is 20 laps which will make it 40 miles in total race distance.

Sprints pay points and solo's pay cash. Sprints are gridded by points and solo's are gridded by order of entry. Sprints run on Sunday and solo's run on Saturday.

Both. You need all the track time you can get.

I have a quick question....are the solo races a sprint to see who finishes 20 laps (or 16 for barber) first, OR is it a timed race where whoever has the best time at the end wins?

They're a set number of laps.

See you at Bargy's on Friday!!!

Knarf Legna I am not Gary Hoover

It's a race just like a sprint with everyone on the track at the same time. Not like an SCCA solo.
