trying to decide between the ohlins nix22 and the traxxion ak-20s. Currently have emulators that work good but would like some adjustability. It is my understanding that the ohlins have a compression valve in one cartridge and a rebound valve in the other. The traxxion have a rebound and compression in each cartridge with only one being adjustable in each fork. Is this correct? Pros and cons of each?
    Edit*add k-tech as an option
    Thanks

That is correct in regards to the AK20. We've done a lot of them on the Ninja 300s. In my opinion, they are best cart option for those forks.

Have also heard mention that they can be fit on different bikes. Is this the case? Would searching for a used set from a different bike be worth while?
    Thanks again

Yes, they can be fitted to different bikes. Usually by changing rebound rod and/or caps.
You can also fit modified gsxr cartridges in those forks.
