Question regarding rule change for Saturday practice

Rich I was going to ask if Tech (aka Pete) could come around Friday after practice and tech our bikes personally. Sort of a house-call-tech-visit. Think you can gete Pete to do that?

This is all wrong!!! WERA needs to go back to the format of 4 lap heat races with longer practices on Saturday.

And raise the entry fees 50%.

I run the solos because I can't get to the first practice session.

I did too, then i figured in the entrance fee, tires, gas.... trust me you feel more like a winner without figuring that stuff in :up:

 

at least with pump gas and take offs you can end up in the plus, but I'm not winning either

Correct, but why race 100% when the racers REAL race is Sunday for points/payout.

To me there is no reason to risk my bike/injury for a $250 payout if I win. Sunday you get Contingency and points which is where I put my effort. I always arrive Friday to tech early sat and get in practice and work on my bike in the afternoon. I normally only do the solo's the first 1 or 2 races.

Not worth the tires and what not to me. Just my opinion.

I hope it works out for WERA and its racers.

 

Dude I'm pathetically slow and I love the Solo for what they are...a long sprint race. Some people just need to stop whining.

 

Okay, so is the opposite true? If you only sign up for and ride in a Saturday Solo are you going to be barred from practicing on Sunday morning?
