Am planning on getting my race license, but am unsure when would be the best time to do it. How often do you have to renew your license? Or is it an automatic renewal if you're racing regularly? If not - if I got a license in September, would I have to complete another race school in September 2005? Thanks
Yup, you renew every 12 months, it'll set ya back $100 bucks. Don't have to take a race school again unless you have a major problem keeping the bike on two wheels. I set mine up so that I renew it during the winter, kind of an offseason expense just like having the valves done or other maintenance.
