As you may have heard PPIR is back open!
I know it might be a long way for most of you but if it does not confict with your schedule and you dont have anything else to do.

Please join the Motorcycle Roadracing Association as they celebrate the resurrection of Pikes Peak International Raceway and close out their 2008 Championship Race Season October 10th - 12th, 2008 at PPIR in Fountain, Colorado.

In an effort to make the event accessible to as many racers as possible, the MRA is offering full reciprocity for racers holding current race licenses with other organizations, and waiving the usual $50 weekend license fee for all classes except "Race of the Rockies". If you wish to compete in the premier "Race of the Rockies" purse money classes, you must purchase a full membership for $100.

Class Structure and Rulebook can be found here: http://www.mra-racing.org/index.cfm?action=rulebook

Race Entry and Membership forms can be found here: http://www.mra-racing.org/index.cfm?action=forms_downloads

Raceday Schedule can be found here: http://forums.mra-racing.org/viewtopic.php?t=5398

We use the AMB-it 260x transponder system for timing & scoring. Bring you own, or there are a limited number available for rent at $50 for the weekend.

Promoter Practice all day on Friday the 10th - $125 per rider

Supersport and Support Races on Saturday the 11th

End of the Year Party Saturday Night!

Superbike, Race of the Rockies, and Support Races on Sunday the 12th.

World class facilities, garages, flushing toilets and showers - close out your 2008 race season in style!

We'll come up with some sort of special prize for the club who brings the most members out to compete with us...

For more information, call the MRA Hotline at 303-530-5678 or go to http://forums.mra-racing.org/index.php

its great to see this track reopened... i couldn't believe it was shut down, and still don't understandy why, but eitherway nice to see it back open again. Really fun little track, will definatly make an attempt to get there in 2009. Anyone know if Racing 2 save lives will be back to PPIR?
