Brad, how long do pacemaker batteries last and do they re-charge them or put new ones in? My Dad needs one. Any particular one to stay away from? TIA
J&J may be in the hunt for Guidant as well. Hey- those batteries last about 5 years before needing replacement, or so I'm told. Brad's gonna tell you to get the model made by St. Jude.
depends...... st. jude has "autocapture" and only used the smallest amount of energy required to pace the cardiac muscle. they tend to last the longest. guidant and medtronic have other diagnostic features.... much like cars.... all peform the same tasks, but in different styles/algorithyms etc..... most likely, you'll end up with the company who has the best golfer for a rep. in your area.
Thank you all. Actually a lot of useful information from the experts on the WERA BBS. You guys are better than Google!
Nah Vato, I'm in a good mood today. I got a kick ass Chanukah gift today. A tube of toothpaste, it should go with the pack of Tic-Tacs I got yesterday.
