Just spit balling, but I would expect a moto crosser type to excell at the rally stuff more than a road racer. I'm really impressed by what he is accomplishing down there.
That was Albert Llovera , I believe Joan is the first tetraplegic, and he's doing the Side By Side ATV/UTV thing
This is a lot of attention on a mask. Maybe, just maybe, he was a participant of an event and simply followed their rules. Due to rules in my local establishments there are some places I wear masks, and some that I don't...and it doesn't have anything to do with me being a pawn or politics. If I want to participate/ access their establishments, I follow their rules. If I don't want to wear it, then I don't participate/access their establishments. Seems pretty innocuous to me. Same as no shirt, no shoes, no service.
Desert rally is like road racing and enduro had a baby. It’s glorious. Don’t try it or you’ll be hooked.
Dude just pulled 2nd place in stage 5! https://us.motorsport.com/dakar/news/dakar-2022-stage-5-price-beats-petrucci-to-victory/7096071/
I've become a fan this week! I truly believe he'd likely have become the first rookie to be leading the bikes at stage 5 (that I can recall, anyway,) if his KTM had not let him down in Stage One.
I don't think there was a more likeable guy than Petrux in the GP paddock. The People's Champion if you will
I can't wait for him to come to America. I hope people remember this and come out to support MA and Petrux like he deserves. We're spoiled and we don't even know it.
See this is why he's such a likable guy, so humble and appreciative it seems. Nice that we've seen nothing but smiles since his change of luck too.
Best marketing campaign KTM could have put $$$ in to. Always rooted for him in MotoGP. I like the underdog. Will definitely go see him race MA.
I love it when great things happen to great people - this is seriously impressive for Danilo and a killer bit of karma after his KTM, well, pulled a KTM earlier in the Dakar.
