All I can say is it must be something else, or a prototype set. They had some sets prototyped and could not proceed due to some issues and having to redo the molds. It could be E-Racings and he could be confused. As I posted earlier, Optimal has not released the SV set. I confirmed again earlier with the owner of Optimal myself. Sorry, I know a lot of guys are waiting for their release.

Why are your store prices more than the factory direct prices for the Optimal stuff (according to eBay)? This is for the '08 R6 stuff?

Correct and thank you . After shipping my prices are cheaper. I've discounted all the bodywork and added freight in for easy no nonsense ordering. If you call optimal and order a set they will add $55 or 60 for shipping.

 

That's good but according to Erics site it's $355 shipped (great price) but Optimal is selling their bodywork on eBay for $350 shipped. This is for the R6. I don't know about other makes/models.

 

Apparently they had a new guy working on setting up the ebay auctions and he messed up on a few sets of the bodywork. They were trying to avoid ebay's new rule about it being 10% less than the buy it now. They are charging more for the spacers that are included in my set and more for the shipping. The one set you referenced on ebay will be the last set that will be sold that cheap. If you look at some other sets they have on there they fixed it and the prices are more than mine.

 

Ahhhh...okay now it makes more sense. Not trying to block any sales but I just wanted to make sure I was looking at the correct info. Thanks for the responses.:up:

 

No problem. Thanks for the heads up. I should always be a little cheaper than them since I am offering a discount over their price. I've worked with them for a couple of years now and have a good relationship, so I just checked up on it.
