it came with 2 angle brackets labeled "for upper" in the package. Where exactly do those go?

I'm interested in a set of bodywork for my '08 R6. How does the Optimal Racing stuff compare to the Armour Bodies stuff? I see you sell both?

 

I sell both. The Armour Bodies is nicer bodywork, no doubt. Almost double in price though. If you want a perfect set of bodywork with very little prep work needed and don't mind spending more, Armour Bodies makes some very nice bodywork.

If you want some great bodywork for the money, don't mind spending a little more time prepping for paint, then Optimal is a good choice. The Optimal is easily better than any other bodywork on the market for less than $600. The Optimal stuff is flexible and does not have the thin layup or cracking issues that a lot of cheap bodywork has. It is a bit thicker than the armour bodies, but the armour bodies layup is better so it's just as strong if not stronger.

A lot of it just depends on the customer, if you are a guy who wants a show room looking bike and you aren't going to crash it then spend the extra for the armour bodies. If you are a guy who views bodywork like tires, you know you are going to crash it a few times and you don't have to have a factory paint job, then save the $300 and use it on tires. It fits good and will get the job done.

Not yet, sorry. I can do Armour Bodies for that bike, but they cost significantly more.
