Mid 80's, that appears to be the Honda RSC transporter … but I can't recall who #67 was.

Loudon 1986. #67 is Shobert's bike. The guy on the bike is Rainey. Wife Shae in background. Guy tipping red hat looks to be Muzzy. Bike's owner on left with camera.

Yep! Back then a piece of carpet and an Easy Up were major signs that you had arrived.

Go back five years before that and here is your Honda factory team. Suzuki and Kawasaki teams were about the same in setup.
Honda arrived in a big way to the Loudon paddock in 1983. That's the first year they showed up with a semi. There were two factory riders with the team. Five factory support riders were set up in close proximity to the trailer.

 

The garages at Loudon aren't much better now. Lol.

Ok..... So this predates my interest in racing and post dates the period I race.. those Honda's were gridded with the gsxr? First year gsxr750 was 86 right?

 

This pic was probably '83 or '84. Not sure exactly when Wayne left Kawasaki for Honda.

 

No. Wayne was on a Kawasaki (Won the title) in 1983. Kawasaki shut down team, so he rode a 250 in the GP's in 1984. He is not listed in the 1985 Loudon Classic program.
