This is one of those pictures where we get to make up the story, right?

My take on this scene is: the owner is the person standing on the ledge, locked out of his own apartment by the dog somehow. Both need help now.

 

That’s a lot going on when all they had to do was start frying bacon and ask the dog if he wanted some.
