Crime really is rampant in NY.

 

Interesting that no news outlets that I've searched include any details about the assailant here other than she's "an 84-year-old woman" ...but they all go into great details about the little 4'11" Italian woman who died. When they're this noticeably ambiguous about an attacker my spidey senses start tingling.

 

Staten Island isn't really considered part of NY, well not by any real NYer
