I always just assume there isn't wsbk then it's like a surprise bonus when it happens. The time off between rounds makes it a really shitty championship to actually care about.

 

Between getting ready to CW for Moto-America and dealing with replacing windows in the house, I missed it.

Ugh I hope GG seriously got paid to ride for BMW because I’m not optimistic his SBK career will last past this contract. Maybe in a few years we’ll see GG back in MA with Cam and Jake. All on different machines. At least that would be entertaining to us muricans

 

First few laps were good but snooze fest mid race on. Redding was going well but he has to ride that bike in the ragged edge just to keep pace and that’s not sustainable. BMW seems to be lost in over complexity and the bike never seems to be able to find a happy medium set up. It never seems good enough in all areas but great in some and horrible in others.

 

So who/what is Rea going to blame that crash on?

 

Van Der Mark was launched to the moon. His leg did not look right.

That highside was ugly. VDM will probably be out for the year, if my eyes don’t deceive me. Really feel sorry for the guy.

 

As much as it was great to see Bautista come back and be competitive against Toprak and Johnny, it's definitely quite one sided now. I was hopeful, but after seeing dominance like that at Assen of all places, these boys are in trouble. AB19 could very well go on a Gagne-esque/Baubier-esque tear and be untouchable for a few years.

 

Legs aren't supposed to do that. It looked like it only remained attached because it was contained in the suit. I think that boy is done. Third major leg injury in a year.



I found it incredible when they showed him waving at the crowd a little later with what almost looked like a smile on his face. And I did not see an IV drip. Then again, this is Holland.

Rea - my guess is this is his last year as well.

GG31 - is he aware that he needs to race, like, right away, or is he somehow under the false impression that racing only starts after 10 laps or so?

 

If GG does just about anything other than two lap sprints from a start he is missing it.

Gotta feel bad for VdM but that's racing. Hopefully it's not as gnarly as it looks.

It's boring to watch Bautista run away with it but it's not like all the Ducati's are setting the world on fire. He is just dialed in right now. Like real dialed in.
