Hello everyone! Just got back into racing (last set of race tires I bought were D364s-lol). Marietta Motorsports says their Pilot Race is different than what you buy trackside(no "PR" designation), but couldn't tell me the difference. Anyone know what it is? Thanks and its good to be back! Alan
As long as you are talking about the POWER race, then yes, you can only get the pr1-pr5 from trackside distributers, while and parts unlimited dealer can get power race soft, med/soft, and med. Ive use a med rear and a pr5 rear back to back, and the difference is huge, if you are racing and can spend the extra $$ hold out for PR tagged tires.
